About Me
- my number one dance move
- ... is a video installation. You can see some of the video footage on this blog. Twelve friends (soon to be more) none of whom have any technical training in dancing, perform their favourite dance moves and are interviewed in their bedrooms or sitting rooms about what role dancing has played in their lives. ************ This project investigates how dancing fits into everyday lives, and touches on social performance, memes, intoxication, leisure and work, shared experience, non-verbal communication, rituals, attraction, embarrassment, awkwardness and fun.
